Company Description
Ubisoft is a global leader in video game creation, responsible for franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and Just Dance. The studio in Paris, founded in 1992, is responsible for major titles including Just Dance, Ghost Recon, and Mario + The Lapins Crétins, and contributes to collaborations like Watch Dogs, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2, and Star Wars. The studio is currently working on unannounced projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimize various engine-side systems.
- Ensure the robustness and performance of systems while ensuring they are correctly used by other departments (design, gameplay programming, etc.).
- Work on low-level topics: performance, memory, threading, architecture, etc.
- Conduct technical research, share findings, and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Excellent mastery of C++.
- Experience in programming within the video game industry.
- Good understanding of multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Interest in working on GenAI-related topics.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-haves)
- Professional or personal experience with game engines.
- Previous experience as an Engine Programmer.
