About the role
Role Overview
Candy Crush Saga is one of the biggest games in the world, entertaining millions of players every day. The company is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Engineer to join a talented cross-functional, end-to-end Data Warehouse team. You will play a key role in the development of dashboards, tools, and analytical products to deliver insight and business information, with the autonomy to design and build products that help business users understand and make decisions on high-volume data.
Responsibilities
- Build new dashboards using React and Cube.js.
- Maintain the current suite of dashboards and other internal custom web tools.
- Collaborate with the Principal Data Visualization Engineer on code quality and architecture.
- Contribute to the design of innovative data visualizations.
- Translate complex data into visualizations that are accurate, smooth, and easy to read.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in React and Typescript (producing code maintainable long-term).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design & Data:
- Strong awareness of data visualization best practices.
- High attention to detail (e.g., visual precision).
- An eye for design (knowing which interactions need feedback versus noise).
- Soft Skills:
- Enjoyment of problem-solving and experimenting with new technologies.

AI-Assisted Development
The team uses AI tools (mainly Claude Code and Codex) as part of the everyday workflow. New team members are expected to utilize these tools while maintaining a high bar for quality. AI output must receive the same scrutiny as human-written code. The goal is to use AI to amplify work while remaining in full command of the codebase.
