The Role
As a CFX Artist at Untold Studios, you will be responsible for creating a broad range of effects that work well with stylized CG and photorealistic characters/creatures. You have an excellent eye for detail and can work across a variety of projects spanning advertising, long-form and Real-time. You create effects that look believable and are consistent with the overall look and feel of every individual project. You are comfortable building scalable, team-friendly CFX set-ups and thrive when working as a part of a team.
Requirements
- Professional experience in Houdini
- Use of VEX is preferred
- Proficient with Vellum Solver (cloth, feathers, hair)
- Knowledge of muscles in either H20.5 or H21, would be beneficial
- Troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently
- Able to do strong and procedural CFX setups
- Interest or previous experience managing and supporting other artists
- Being flexible and adaptive to new workflows
Compensation
- Pay range: $85,000-130,000 CND/Year depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
