Game development is their core competency, and they assist partners throughout the development process of AAA titles.
Responsibilities
- Working with keyframe animation and Motion Capture for humanoid and creature characters according to client quality requirements.
- Ability to provide quality assets to the client with minimal participation from the Lead Artist.
- Communicates regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks.
- Obtains Lead Artist guidance and approval as required to advance tasks.
- Expected to continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and/or in-house tools.
- Contributes to the team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Maya, Motion Builder, or 3ds Max and preferences for the usage of each.
- Familiarity with game engine technologies such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Good understanding of posing, timing, spacing, and exaggeration.
- Experience in Motion Capture post-processing, overlay animation, retargeting, story, and constraints.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback.
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
- Flexibility in the usage of different software packages.
