Job Summary
Milk VFX is looking for an experienced Unreal Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the VFX and virtual production teams to create real-time assets and environments using Unreal Engine, contributing to cutting-edge visual effects projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimize real-time assets and environments within Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with VFX supervisors, artists, and technical teams to integrate Unreal workflows into production pipelines.
- Develop tools and techniques to improve efficiency and quality of real-time content creation.
- Support virtual production shoots and troubleshoot technical challenges on set.
- Stay up to date with the latest Unreal Engine features and industry trends.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine, including Blueprints and material creation.
- Proficient in 3D modeling and texturing software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
- Good understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, and optimization techniques.
- Experience working in a VFX or virtual production environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or C++.
- Experience with motion capture and virtual camera systems.
- Familiarity with game engine pipelines and asset management.
Education & Experience
- A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Graphics, Animation, Game Design, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience working with Unreal Engine in a production environment.
