We are currently looking for a mid-level Technical Designer to join us full-time in Chicago, IL or Cambridge, MA. Technical Designers at Disbelief combine a multitude of technical skills to solve player-facing and development challenges. You should be comfortable working independently and with a team.
Degree or equivalent work experience in UX Design, Game Design, Computer Science, or another related field.
1-4+ years of experience in game development.
Salary Range: $83,000 – $100,000
Salary offers consider experience, skills, comparable industry/geographical roles, and relocation benefits. The upper range is typically reserved for strong performers.
Relocation Assistance: Available where applicable
Hybrid Work: Developers are in-office based on project needs but can often work from home. Some projects require daily access to physical infrastructure.
Visa Sponsorship: Not available. Disbelief is an E-Verify employer.
Technologies: Primarily Unreal Engine and custom game engines across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and VR/AR platforms.
