Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with artists, programmers, and VFX teams.
- Research, develop, and maintain different art pipelines (mainly material related).
- Optimize currently existing pipelines using the latest technology features.
- Uphold the most optimized and coherent usage of textures and materials among artists.
- Create materials using UE5 material nodes.
- Profile on artists’ and designers’ requests.
- Investigate, identify, and troubleshoot problems on the graphical side of the game (GPU profiling to analyze material and mesh heaviness).
- Document technical limitations.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Previous experience working in Unreal Engine 4/5.
- Previous experience in creating shaders (in HLSL).
- Experience in profiling and ability to detect performance limitations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with artists and other departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
