Technical Animator (m/f/d)

Claymore Game Studios are located in Darmstadt close to the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main area. We are working on the next installment of the internationally acclaimed Commandos franchise for PC and the latest generation of consoles. We are looking for passionate developers to join our team and actively define the future of one of the most iconic series in tactical strategy gaming.
We are currently looking for a Technical Animator (m/f/d).
Key Responsibilities
- Research, development and continued improvement of the animation pipeline
- Close collaboration with the code department in art-relevant topics
- Rigging and skinning of animated meshes
- Monitoring and optimization of (animation-)performance
- Research and development of a mocap pipeline
Required Qualifications / Skills
- More than 3 years of experience in game-development
- Excellent technical understanding
- Balanced technical and artistic skill set
- Problem-solving attitude and the ability to quickly familiarize with new technical topics
- Experience with motion capturing in a professional production
- Knowledge of Unreal and its technical systems
- Knowledge of Blender is a plus
- Passion for games and game development
- Proactive, team player mindset with excellent communication skills and hands-on mentality
- Goal-oriented way of working
- A high degree of initiative and reliability
