Job Summary
Milk VFX is seeking a talented Mid Level Roto / Paint Artist to join our Bordeaux studio. You will be working on high-end visual effects projects, contributing to the creation of seamless and high-quality roto and paint work for feature films and television.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality roto and paint mattes for complex shots, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with compositors and VFX supervisors to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain and manage roto and paint assets efficiently within the pipeline.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to roto and paint tasks.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a roto/paint artist in a professional VFX environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard software such as Silhouette, Nuke, or equivalent.
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to work on complex roto and paint tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on feature films or high-end television projects.
- Knowledge of additional compositing software and VFX pipelines.
- Fluency in French and/or English.
Education Requirements
A degree or diploma in Visual Effects, Animation, Film Production, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years professional roto/paint experience in a VFX studio environment.
