Job Summary
Milk VFX is seeking a Directeur de Production VFX to join our Bordeaux studio. This role is pivotal in managing the production pipeline and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality visual effects projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate between creative teams and clients, overseeing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire VFX production process from start to finish.
- Coordinate with creative directors, producers, and technical teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain production schedules and budgets.
- Allocate resources efficiently to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
- Identify and mitigate production risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production lifecycle.
- Lead and motivate production teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in VFX production management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of VFX production pipelines and workflows.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in French and English.
- Proficiency with production management software and tools.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Education & Experience Requirements
A degree or equivalent experience in film production, visual effects, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in VFX production or related industry roles.
