Job Summary

ATLANTIS ANIMATION is an animation studio based in the Canary Island of Tenerife, known for producing high quality animated series and feature films such as Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, broadcast on Disney Channel and Disney+. We are preparing a new project, the series Messi and the Giants, produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids, and Leo Messi Management, and broadcast by Disney. This epic saga follows a young boy named Leo transported from Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to join our 3D animation team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth execution of animation projects by managing schedules, coordinating between departments, following up on daily team progress, and maintaining clear communication across the production pipeline. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Manager in scheduling and tracking production progress.
  • Coordinate between different departments (modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, etc.) to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain and update production tracking tools (ShotGrid, Excel, or similar).
  • Communicate with artists and supervisors to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks.
  • Organize and distribute daily/weekly production reports.
  • Ensure all assets and deliverables are properly documented and archived.
  • Facilitate meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in managing outsourced work and liaise with external vendors if needed.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the animation, VFX, or gaming industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in production tracking software (ShotGrid).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with 3D animation workflows and pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with artists, supervisors, and production staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Fluency in English.
  • EU nationality or valid work permit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced animation studio.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software (Maya).
  • Understanding of post-production and rendering processes.
