Job Summary
KRAFTON Montréal Studio is currently seeking talented candidates for the position of AI Programmer. Join our innovative team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and contribute to cutting-edge game development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI systems and features for game projects.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other programmers to integrate AI solutions.
- Optimize AI performance and ensure high-quality gameplay experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in AI programming.
- Troubleshoot and debug AI-related issues throughout the development cycle.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Strong programming skills in C++ and/or other relevant languages.
- Experience with AI techniques such as pathfinding, behavior trees, state machines, and decision-making algorithms.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Fluency in English; French language skills are an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning or neural networks applied to games.
- Familiarity with KRAFTON’s game engines or proprietary tools.
- Previous experience in AAA game development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in game AI programming or related software development roles.
