VFX Line Producer

Job Summary
Milk VFX is seeking an experienced VFX Line Producer to join our team. The Line Producer will be responsible for managing the production process of visual effects projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of VFX production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the production schedule and budget for VFX projects from inception through delivery.
- Collaborate closely with producers, supervisors, and creative teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee resource allocation and staffing to meet project demands.
- Track progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate production risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Support the finance team with invoicing and cost tracking.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Producer or Production Manager in the VFX or animation industry.
- Strong knowledge of VFX production pipelines and workflows.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with production tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high-end feature film or episodic VFX projects.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software such as Shotgun, ftrack, or similar.
- Familiarity with UK tax credit schemes and international co-productions.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education: A degree or diploma in Film Production, Animation, Visual Effects, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of production experience in VFX or animation, with at least 2 years in a Line Producer or equivalent role.
