As an intern at Guerrilla, you will immerse yourself in the world of game development. From collaborating with industry leaders to working on cutting-edge projects, you’ll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of game creation.
Our World Lighting and Cinematic Lighting Teams
World Lighting and Cinematic Lighting are the two teams within Guerrilla which are responsible for all lighting that happens in our games, marketing art, and trailers. We work exclusively in Decima creating lighting that guides the players and moves them. Together with the VFX and Atmospherics teams we are responsible for the final look and feel of the game.
With different backgrounds ranging from film, to commercials and of course videogames we are able to share a lot of insights on what makes for lighting that works. As a lighting intern you will be learning from both world and cinematic lighting.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study
- Aged 18 or over
- Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
- Able to live and work in the Netherlands
- Available for an Internship starting September 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong sense for light, color, composition, and some work to illustrate this
- Open to learning new technology, and learning various sides of game lighting
- Good at taking constructive feedback

Please note: This position is based in our studio in the heart of Amsterdam. You must be in commuting distance from the studio in order to qualify for the internship.
