The Senior Game Developer will report directly to the CTO and collaborate with a team of developers and other disciplines to build mobile, free-to-play casual games. This role emphasizes ownership of quality output and iterative gameplay feature development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the implementation of a wide range of features including gameplay, meta, live-ops, and free-to-play best practices.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure high-quality delivery of game content and features.
- Support and help team members improve, from brainstorming to building productivity tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Expertise in writing game code using Unity with C#.
- High professional standards with strong attention to quality and detail.
- Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and improve skills.
- Experience working on more than one commercially successful mobile game.
- Ability to collaborate closely with other disciplines to iterate on gameplay and features.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with animation, 3D modelling, and 2D art pipelines.
- Experience writing shaders for mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with build pipelines, automation, and testing frameworks.
- Backend development experience for mobile games, either custom or with BaaS platforms.
- A passion for the mobile casual games market.
