We are seeking an experienced Senior Nuke Compositor to join our award-winning team for our commercial and longform projects. As a senior compositor, you will work alongside our award-winning artists in a dynamic studio environment that focuses on creativity and innovation to the highest standard. You will be an integral part of the team, requiring exceptional creativity with an organised approach to your work.

Working closely with clients in advertising, film, TV, and music industries, we provide a full-service post-production and VFX offering including high-end colour grading, 2D & 3D visual effects, shoot supervision, animation, design, direction, and concept. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and create high-quality digital composites and visual effects from initial conception to project completion.
- Comprehensively understand all aspects of compositing and communicate clearly with supervisors and fellow artists across disciplines.
- Seamlessly integrate all layers of a shot, including live-action plates and CG elements.
- Understand compositing multi-channel lighting passes and how each channel contributes to the final image.
- Work on complex tasks such as set extensions, photoreal CG integration, matte painting projections using 3D camera systems, beauty work, and fundamental compositing skills such as rotoscoping, cleanup, and keying.
- Perform advanced tracking (both 2D and 3D) as required.
- Develop creative approaches and bring new ideas and advancements in tools and techniques to keep Freefolk innovating.
- Collaborate closely with VFX Supervisors, contributing to daily reviews and assisting other artists when needed.
- Work in partnership with lighters and other compositors to ensure shots are delivered to the highest standard.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the film industry preferred.
- Mastery of Nuke compositing software.
- Expert knowledge of compositing and integration of 3D elements into plates.
- Experience using multi-pass CG elements.
- Strong artistic skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work hybrid between home and Freefolk’s brand new East London office.

You will work alongside top VFX professionals in a dynamic studio environment, utilizing your expert Nuke skills and creativity to execute compositing for commercials and long-form projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality digital composites and visual effects for feature films and television.
- Seamlessly integrate all layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and computer graphics elements.
- Maintain a strong sense of colour, colour-space, and attention to detail.
- Perform required tracking (both 2D and 3D).
- Work on complex shots following production processes and develop creative problem-solving approaches.
- Use 2.5D approaches, projections, and 3D environment tools within Nuke.
- Collaborate closely with VFX Supervisors and 2D Supervisors to composite all elements of VFX shots.
- Partner with lighters and other compositors to ensure shots meet the highest standards.
- Understand compositing multi-channel lighting passes and their contribution to the final image.
Required Qualifications & Skills
