Senior Animator

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, skilled and reliable animator to join our team on an amazing new project. The work will consist of creating high quality and realistic humanoid animations using motion capture and/or key-frame animations for animals, creatures and objects. You will collaborate with the team of animators, designers, and technical artists to ensure a coherent result. As a senior animator, you will also be tasked with guiding less experienced colleagues if necessary, helping lead the organization of various aspects of the department’s work, as well as assisting in troubleshooting animation problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high quality and realistic humanoid animations using motion capture and/or key-frame animation techniques for animals, creatures, and objects.
- Collaborate closely with animators, designers, and technical artists to ensure coherent and polished animation results.
- Guide and mentor less experienced animators as needed.
- Help lead and organize various aspects of the animation department’s workflow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years experience in the game industry as an animator.
- Excellent knowledge of MotionBuilder or Maya.
- High quality portfolio showcasing gameplay, cutscene, or creature animations.
- Experience with motion capture data processing.
- Strong team player with good communication and task management skills.
- Passion for games.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rigging and skinning.
- Experience in animation integration.
- Having shipped a AAA project.
