3D Animator

Scopely is looking for a 3D Animator to join our Marketing team Flamed in Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis. We are a distributed team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily. We are the in-house creative agency Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games’ marketing needs worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Animate characters, weapons and objects based on game requirements and artistic direction.
- Work closely with the 3D Lead to ensure animations are properly integrated into Unreal Engine.
- Adjust animations based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain timely delivery of animation assets.
- Participate in creative brainstorms, ideations, storyboards, and/or animatics to visualize concepts before production.
- Resolve technical issues specific to characters or Game Engine integration.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- At least 6 years of experience producing 3D animation for games, commercials or films.
- High proficiency in Maya.
- Ability to work efficiently in line with art direction.
- Adaptability to different animation styles.
- Ability to switch seamlessly between animation software and game engines.
- Basic knowledge of scripting for process automation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in English at a technical level.
- A portfolio showcasing your best animation work.
