In 2001, TOPIX co-founded, with visual effects specialist Dennis Berardi, Mr. X, which specializes in the production of digital visual effects for feature films. 14 years later, Mr. X boasts a crew of 200 people in Toronto, and has launched a 40-strong shop in NYC, Mr. X Gotham. Together, the two shops have accumulated prestigious credits: Tron: Legacy, Robocop, Pompeii, 42, Anchorman 2, Resident Evil, Eastern Promises, A History of Violence, A Dangerous Method, etc.
