TaleWorlds Entertainment is an independent video game development studio located in Ankara, Turkey. Founded in 2005 by Arma?an Yavuz after starting work in game development as a hobby, TaleWorlds has expanded its team to over 90 employees. Known for its leading Mount & Blade? game franchise, TaleWorlds is one of the most successful indie developers worldwide. Around 98% of the company’s sales are from outside of Turkey, demonstrating the global success of the Mount & Blade? series. 2008 saw the final release of Mount & Blade, the first game in the series, with the standalone expansion Mount & Blade: Warband? going to market in 2010. On 30th March of 2020, the company released their much anticipated “Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord”? in early access which has been received very positively by players and critics.
