Fettle is a multi award-winning 2D Animation Company with a global reputation, based in the Pennine village of Marsden in Yorkshire UK. We create hand drawn, digital animation for broadcast, games, web, live events and short film. Our clients include broadcasters, charities, businesses, musicians and record labels both in the UK and abroad. Our work includes the BAFTA nominated ‘Children of the Holocaust’, commissioned by BBC Learning and created with members of the charity the Holocaust Survivors Friendship Association. The critically acclaimed series, which has been screened at nine international film and animation festivals around the world in 2015, won the national Sandford St Martins Childrens award in June 2015 and two regional Royal Television Society Awards in July 2015. The six animated tales of elderly Holocaust survivors told for a young audience have been shown in Australia, Austria, China, France, Canada, South Korea, Italy and Sweden. Zane Whittingham, founder and Animation Director at Fettle, was named ‘One to Watch’ by the Royal Television Society Yorkshire.
