Job Summary
Blur Studio is seeking a talented Senior 3D Environment Modeler to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating high-quality 3D environments for animation, games, and visual effects projects. You will collaborate closely with artists, designers, and technical teams to bring immersive worlds to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed and optimized 3D environment models that meet artistic and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with art directors and other team members to develop visual concepts and maintain artistic quality.
- Work within project pipelines and adhere to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Participate in reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 3D environment modeling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
- Strong understanding of topology, UV mapping, and texturing.
- Experience working in a collaborative production environment.
- Ability to interpret concept art and translate it into 3D assets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools to optimize workflows.
- Background in lighting and rendering techniques.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Computer Graphics, Animation, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within animation, games, or visual effects studios.
