Job Summary

THERAPY STUDIOS, a high-end post-production company in Los Angeles, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate compositor to join the FLAME/Finishing team as a Junior Flame Artist. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, is highly organized, and has a strong eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting. This person can expect to become an integral part of the Therapy team working alongside our artists on a broad range of work including long-form television, feature films, commercials, music videos, and VR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import, manage and conform media (in Flame)
  • Utilize different codec and media transcoding software
  • Utilize a patch bay and router system
  • Upload to and manage FTP links for client presentations
  • Help manage the workflow and keep the team on track, in conjunction with producers
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and system updates
  • Archive and backup projects and media
  • Assist and participate in compositing work

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Experience with and knowledge of Flame and VFX compositing
  • Proficiency in After Effects and/or Nuke is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a perfectionist mindset
  • Outgoing personality and strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with management of offline and online media storage
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends when necessary

Benefits & Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position with a salary range of $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience, with opportunities to earn overtime pay.
