As an intern, you will immerse yourself in the world of game development. From collaborating with industry leaders to working on cutting-edge projects, you’ll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of game creation.
Our Visual Effects Team
Our department currently has about 7 people working on developing a variety of visual effects (VFX) for our games using a wide range of tools. Think about things like explosions, fire, smoke, weapons firing, holograms, and character effects like cloaking, etc. The job offers a nice balance between technical and artistic challenges where there are always new things to learn along the way.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern in the Visual Effects Team, you will:
- Collaborate with experienced VFX artists and developers on game projects
- Create and implement visual effects such as explosions, fire, smoke, and character effects
- Balance technical and artistic challenges to deliver high-quality assets
- Learn and grow your skills in a professional game development environment
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study
- Aged 18 or over
- Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
- Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands
- Available for an internship starting September 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- A passion for asset art demonstrated through a portfolio
- Problem-solving skills with a knack for both technical and aesthetic challenges
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Experience with stylized art
- Strong English communication skills
- Passionate about learning and growing as an artist
