English: As an Animation Artistic Director, you will be in charge of establishing the vision and guidelines for the animation of all the characters in the game. You will work in collaboration with other professions in the team in order to offer players a unique gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities / Responsabilités
- Créer des prototypes d’animations et d’autres ressources de référence.
- Être le principal point de communication entre les animateurs et toutes les autres équipes.
- Fournir des conseils lors de discussions créatives avec la direction du design et de l’art.
- Gérer une équipe d’animateurs, diriger la planification du projet et assurer la qualité artistique tout en respectant les échéanciers.
- Collaborer avec la production pour s’assurer que les horaires et les plans répondent aux besoins de production.
- Aider à soutenir et à faire évoluer l’équipe d’animation avec des commentaires constructifs.
- Conduire des améliorations dans les processus et le pipeline.
- Assurer la direction de l’animation pour s’assurer que la qualité du travail est conforme à la vision du directeur artistique.
- Capacité à identifier, encadrer et développer les talents.
- Collaborer efficacement avec la production, la conception, l’ingénierie et d’autres départements artistiques.
- Create animation prototypes and other benchmark assets.
- Act as the main point of communication between animators and all other teams.
- Provide guidance during creative discussions with design and art leadership.
- Manage a team of animators, direct project planning and ensure artistic quality while respecting deadlines.
- Collaborate with production to ensure schedules and plans meet production needs.
- Drive process and pipeline improvements.
- Provide animation direction to ensure that the quality of the work is consistent with the vision of the artistic director.
- Identify, mentor, develop, and support animation talent and team.
- Collaborate effectively with production, design, engineering and other artistic departments.

Required Qualifications / Basic Qualifications
- 10+ années d’expérience en animation pour des jeux AAA
- 5+ années dans une position de leadership
- Portfolio illustrant l’éventail des styles, la créativité et le savoir-faire, en particulier démontrant une maitrise de l’animation de bipèdes humanoïdes, de quadrupèdes et d’autres créatures
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit; puisque ce rôle nécessite d’interagir avec d’autres entités d’Amazon à l’échelle mondiale ainsi qu’avec des employé.es et intervenant.es dans d’autres provinces canadiennes, la connaissance du français et de l’anglais est exigée pour ce poste.
- 10+ years of animation experience for AAA games
- 5+ years in a leadership position
- Portfolio illustrating a range of styles, creativity and skills, particularly demonstrating proficiency in animating humanoid bipeds, quadrupeds and other creatures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.

- Knowledge of Unreal is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills: able to explain conceptual ideas in an accessible and understandable way
- The ability to give constructive feedback and to transmit an artistic direction and make it a shared objective
