Scammers are offering fake positions and then demanding payment for mandatory “certification courses” to proceed with the hiring process. Zynga will NEVER ask candidates to pay for any training courses or certifications as part of our recruitment process.
Here’s how to protect yourself:
- Verify the Source: Always double-check the sender’s email address. Legitimate Zynga emails will come from an @zynga.com address.
- Be Wary of Upfront Fees: Any request for money, regardless of the reason, is a major red flag.
- Report Suspicious Activity: Report the scam to the appropriate authorities in your region and to LinkedIn.
