Job Summary

Brand New School is seeking a Creative Director for a full-time role in London. With approximately 65 employees across the United States, we are a tight community of talented artists and producers with one common goal – making great work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and inspiring teams of creatives from idea conception through final delivery.
  • Conceiving design strategies for pitches and projects across a variety of platforms, which can then be sold through to clients.
  • Articulating ideas and leading a group of creatives to develop inspiring work.
  • Assembling presentation decks and comfortably pitching novel ideas to clients.
  • Creating designs, style frames, and motion concepts for a variety of content.
  • Maintaining a genuine awareness of the creative challenges associated with producing exceptional work while satisfying client demands.
  • Conceiving and visualizing forward-thinking ideas that push the creative boundaries of projects.
  • Being an active participant of the team and contributing to the creative culture of the studio.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Instincts on how to approach projects, engage with clients, and lead teams.
  • Ideas for authoring novel creative solutions, evolving client relationships, and inspiring teams to create their best work.
  • Minimum 5 years leading teams and working directly with both agencies and brands.
  • A portfolio/reel demonstrating ability to art direct high-level work for various content types.
  • Articulate, wildly creative, and a problem solver.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma. (After Effects is a bonus but not mandatory.)
  • Efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Awareness of the creative challenges involved in producing exceptional work while satisfying client demands.

Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000

Brand New School attracts a team with unique skillsets and varying levels of experience. The salary range provided is broad and will be refined during the interview process.
