Job Summary
Red Parrot Studios, the animation studio behind productions such as “Peterchens Mondfahrt“, „Friedefeld“ and “Die Mucklas … und wie sie zu Pettersson und Findus kamen”, is seeking a motivated 3D Generalist for a short teaser project.
Project: 3D Teaser of 60 seconds
Duration: May 2025 – September 2025
Location: Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein
Software: Maya, Substance Painter; Optional: Houdini and zBrush
Contract Type: Freelance or employed for the duration of the project
Key Responsibilities
- Create layout rigs and final rigs for props using mGear
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
- Respond constructively to feedback from direction
- Deliver high-quality work aligned with project goals
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Primary residence in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein
- Several years of experience as a 3D Generalist
- Experience in animation film production
- Proficient with Maya and Substance Painter or comparable texturing tools
- Experience with Arnold or similar rendering engines
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to achieving the best quality
